The criminal department within Lewis Nedas & Co is the firms largest. It is able to handle all criminal matters and has, over the years, dealt with many high profile cases. The firm is also a member of the Specialist Fraud Panel and places special emphasis on the use of highly specialised barristers and experts.

Our criminal law team is comprised of solicitors, advocates, experienced trial lawyers, accredited police station representatives and highly trained caseworkers. Many within our team come from diverse professions including an Investment Analyst, Environmental Engineer, a Paediatric Nurse and a Consultant Geologist . Members of our team are trained to deal with clients in a sympathetic and confidential manner, regardless of the problem. Persons charged with even the most minor of offences can find both the experience and the consequences, highly distressing.

In all areas of practice, the firm’s employees are of the highest quality and are able to assist persons who may be facing trial in cases as varied as summonses under the Road Traffic Acts, to the most serious of criminal offences in the Crown Court. We operate a 24 hour emergency service 365 days a year to ensure that our clients are properly represented at the earliest stage of an investigation. If you have already been charged with an offence we can advise you further and arrange for you to be represented by an advocate at the appropriate court. We are franchised by the Legal Services Commission which means that we can offer free legal advice and representation for those who are eligible.
